Objectives

After the laboratory the students are able to apply the methods and concepts in practice.

Description

Task 1: Logic simulation of digital circuits Task 2: Analog simulation with an amplifier stage as example The laboratory is divided into 10 tasks in different institutes. * 1) Logic Simulation * 2) Signal Acquisition and Analysis * 3) Non-linear dynamic circuits * 4) State realization of linear systems * 5) Quantum-Dot Cellular Automata Devices * 6) Analog simulation * 7) Elementary VLSI circuits * 8) Integrated circuit technology * 9) Implementation and analysis of analog and digital filters *10) Simulation of nanomagnetic devices

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge about analog and digital circuits, time continuous and discrete state equations and nanoelectronic devices.

Teaching and learning methods

As prerequisite for the individual tasks is to work on the preparation question included in the scripts. The laboratory will be done in groups and supported by the supervisor.

Examination

The total grade will be given from the grades of 10 individual tasks.
